1858 Flying Eagle Cent (1c) Large Letters
PCGS
MS63
CAC
The 1858 Flying Eagle cent is noteworthy as the third and final year of this short-lived but highly collectible series.
This CAC-approved MS63 example displays beautiful original surfaces with rich, honey-bronze color throughout. The strike is impressively bold, with sharp definition on the eagle's feathers and the wreath details on the reverse. The fields show minimal marks for the grade, and the overall eye appeal is outstanding with warm, natural luster that radiates across both sides of the coin. The original mint bloom remains intact, giving this coin a distinctive presence that separates it from lesser examples.
