1877-S Trade Dollar (T$1)

This VF20 example of the ever-popular Trade Dollar displays honest wear from commercial use, yet retains clear design elements and pleasing detail throughout. The surfaces show an attractive medium gray patina with no significant marks or problems beyond normal circulation wear. The fields are smooth and the strike is bold, particularly on the eagle's feathers and the central devices. For a Trade Dollar that actually served its intended purpose in commerce, this is an excellent survivor.
