The 1895-O Morgan Dollar is one of the most challenging dates in the series, thanks to its relatively low mintage of just 450,000 coins. The New Orleans Mint in particular had a reputation for producing less sharply struck coins, which makes high-grade examples even rarer and highly sought after by collectors.
