1916-D Mercury Dime (10c)

CAC
The 1916-D Mercury Dime stands as one of the most famous key dates in all of American numismatics. With a tiny mintage of just 264,000 pieces - the lowest of the series by far - the 1916-D has been eagerly sought since the year it was struck. Most examples entered circulation and stayed there until they were completely worn out.
This AG03 example, with CAC approval, represents an honest, problem-free circulated specimen. The surfaces show even wear with no notable marks or damage beyond the expected circulation. The date and mintmark remain clear and readable, and the coin has developed a pleasing light silver-gray patina. While heavily circulated, this remains a highly desirable example of this legendary rarity.
