1922 No D Lincoln Cent (1c) Strong Reverse
PCGS F12 BN
The 1922 No D Lincoln Cent represents one of the most fascinating mint errors of the 20th century. During production at the Denver mint, a severely worn die resulted in coins lacking the 'D' mintmark.
This F12 example certified by PCGS shows the diagnostic Strong Reverse variety, with bold wheat stalks and lettering on the reverse. The surfaces display even, chocolate-brown color and smooth wear consistent with the grade. Despite its circulated state, the coin retains good eye appeal with no significant marks or problems that often plague old copper.
