While not the lowest mintage of the series, it's notably scarce in higher mint state grades, as many were released into circulation during the economic boom of the Roaring Twenties.

This MS64 example shows strong cartwheel luster and crisp, clean surfaces throughout. The strike is notably bold for a San Francisco issue, with sharp detail in the hair and the eagle's feathers. The surfaces display a pleasing satiny texture with minimal marks for the grade, and the eye appeal is outstanding with subtle champagne toning beginning to form around the peripheries.
