1939 Mercury Dime (10c)

The 1939 Mercury dime is a fascinating issue from the late Depression era. While not particularly rare, finding superb proof examples can be challenging, as only 9,321 proof coins were struck for collectors that year. As the clouds of war gathered in Europe, the U.S. Mint continued its tradition of producing exceptional proof coinage.
This outstanding PF67 CAC example exhibits pristine mirrored fields and crisp, frosted devices that create stunning contrast. The surfaces are virtually flawless, with incredible depth to the mirrors and razor-sharp strike details throughout. The eye appeal is exceptional, with brilliant white surfaces unmarred by spots or toning. A truly superior example of late 1930s proof coinage.
